Our Story

What used to be expected only by friends and family as holiday treats has grown into a year-round business for George's Candy Kitchen in Forest Grove, Oregon. George, a farmer and carpenter by trade, has always loved cooking, baking, and creating new things in the kitchen. George's candy-making began when his aunt gave him her special peanut brittle recipe. His aunt felt no other recipe came close to its delicious flavor and light airy texture. George, over the past years since his retirement has perfected this recipe and turns out countless batches each year and continues to create new varieties as well as adding other lines of candy for various holidays.
